Guardian Home Program at Little Lords & Ladies Dachshunds

At LaLdoxies, we believe every dog deserves a loving, forever home. Our Dachshunds are part of our family and live in our home, not in kennels. This way, we can ensure they receive the attention they deserve. Additionally, by offering our Guardian Home Program, we can place these dogs in loving homes while still supporting our breeding program.

This program allows one of our breeding males or females to live in a permanent, loving home. Furthermore, the dog will stay in the program for up to four litters, or until the age of 5 for females and 6 for males.

Responsibilities of a Guardian Home

• First and foremost, provide a loving and safe environment for the dog.
• Additionally, take care of the dog’s basic needs, including food, exercise, and veterinary care.
• It is also essential to ensure the dog stays indoors and is never left unattended outside.
• Finally, you will need to follow all breeding-related instructions from LaLdoxies.

Benefits for Guardian Homes

• For starters, you will receive compensation ($50/puppy or $300/litter) once the puppies go home.
• In addition, you will have the privilege of raising a top-quality Dachshund puppy.
• Moreover, you will be a part of our breeding program while giving a dog a forever home.

Requirements for Becoming a Guardian Home

• To begin with, you must have previous experience with dogs.
• Furthermore, you should be able to socialize puppies and teach basic commands.
• It is also important to provide regular exercise and veterinary care for the dog.
• Finally, you must be able to communicate with us, the breeder, about scheduling testing, mating, and whelping.
